Meet Dr. Kristan Ingraham-McQueen

Dr. Kristan Ingraham-McQueen, fondly known by her patients as Dr. McQueen, grew up in Southwestern Connecticut, staying close to home to complete her undergraduate and dental education at the University of Connecticut. Her passion for dentistry was ignited during her freshman year, inspired by the blend of science, art, and service she discovered during a lecture by the Dean of the School of Dentistry. This moment set her on a path to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

After earning her degree, Dr. McQueen pursued speciality training through a Pediatric Dental Residency Program and became board-certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. With over a decade of experience, she has honed her skills in providing compassionate, individualized care to children of all ages. Her work includes supporting children who are anxious, those with special needs, and those who simply need a bit of extra kindness and reassurance.

Dr. McQueen’s approach emphasizes prevention, education, and creating a safe space where children can feel comfortable and confident. She firmly believes in empowering families with the knowledge and tools to maintain lifelong dental health. Her Christian faith guides her mission, influencing her commitment to serving families with compassion, excellence, and integrity.

Beyond the practice, Dr. McQueen cherishes time spent with her loved ones, including her husband, her son, her mother & father, and her sister. She enjoys volunteering through her church, diving into Bible study, exploring new destinations through travel and cruises, and indulging in foodie adventures.

Through her unwavering dedication to high-quality, patient-centered pediatric dentistry, Dr. McQueen’s ultimate goal is to build confidence in her young patients; not just in their smiles, but in themselves.
